This is one reason I stopped playing Halo online...
Before you click on the link to the following video, let me warn you that it is full of swear words and harsh language. If you want to avoid hearing such things, do not click below.
Those of you who read my blog know that I am not a proponent of homosexuality. It's not a big deal to me (in the same way that anyone's personal choices aren't a big deal to me), but I do believe that it is sin.
Having said that, I don't feel that it is my moral duty to tell other people that their lifestyle is wrong. As long as another person's personal choices don't have an impact on my family (or society as a whole), then I really don't care at all.
The players on Halo 2 and 3, however, come from a different background apparently. They use every kind of swear word, hate speech, and insane comments they can to try to make themselves look good (and in turn make their opponents weaker). I heard comments online that made me angry and they usually weren't even directed at me.
The people in this video are chatting live using headsets while they wait for games to start. They are 'normal' people, mostly from America, and the things they say are disturbing, gross, and immoral.
No matter what your stance is on homosexuality, you have to agree that this is wrong.
