The long weekend is done...

How was your weekend? I hope it was fun.

This year the entire Dopps clan went down to Dallas for the weekend for the annual Dopps Camp. There are usually around 100 family members there, but, sadly, this year my immediate family didn't go.

We got phone calls from my siblings and parents throughout the weekend ("We're driving right now!" and "We just finished Thanksgiving dinner!" and "We're going to Six Flags and you're not and you suck!") but other than that, it was sort of a quiet time to just enjoy being our own small island in the world.

The baby is growing and healthy - we're still trying to pick the perfect girl name, so let us know your suggestions. Laura is still awesome and beautiful. And the kids fight like crazy, yet they are each so amazing that I wouldn't trade them in for anything in the world.

Life is quiet and peaceful and good*. I guess that's about all you can ask for, neh?


*Except for this nasty intestinal crap I've had for a few days now - I don't like camping out in the bathroom... TMI?
